Twenty-two years of independent review
Founded 2004
FOCUS Behavioral Health, Inc. was registered as a Florida corporation on 26 February 2004, and became FOCUS Health, Inc. as the work diversified beyond behavioral review into medical review.
URAC-accredited IRO
Internal and external review for both behavioral health and medical services.
Expanding reach
Formulary exception review, growing into federal and state external review and IDR under the No Surprises Act.
Government audit
Expanded into corporate integrity agreement support, with workers' compensation review ahead.

A patient-centered model
The patient's needs are always our primary concern. We apply established criteria and guidelines while recognizing that patients are complex, and that no criteria set, guideline or policy could ever hope to fully address all possible aspects of an individual circumstance. Our reviewers examine the clinical context as a whole and apply independent clinical judgment within that framework.
