Panel capacity is the constraint on every independent review organization. If you are board certified and licensed, review work is flexible, remote and intellectually serious.
What panel work involves
FOCUS reviewers evaluate medical necessity against established criteria and guidelines, then apply independent clinical judgment to the circumstances of the individual case. Reviews span pre-service, concurrent, post-service, reconsideration and appeal levels, for both commercial and government lines of business.
Work is conducted in the FOCUS Review Management System, which carries context-sensitive help on every screen so reviewers reach productivity quickly rather than through a training queue.
Who we are looking for
- Board certification in your specialty, currently active
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- Clinical practice experience in the specialty you would review
- Availability that matches review turnaround standards

Credentialing
